1. About RISE 2025

RISE 2025 is the Belgrade Women's Conference organized by the Government of the Republic of Serbia, scheduled for September 30, 2025, at the Palace of Serbia, Belgrade. The conference focuses on Rights, Inclusion, Sustainability, and Empowerment of women in political and economic spheres.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our website, registering for the conference, or participating in related activities, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using this site and participating in the conference.

3. Conference Registration and Participation

3.1 Eligibility

• The conference is open to professionals, policymakers, academics, and advocates working in relevant fields

4. Code of Conduct

All participants are expected to:

• Conduct themselves in a professional and respectful manner
• Respect diverse viewpoints and cultural differences
• Refrain from discriminatory, offensive, or disruptive behavior
• Comply with photography and recording restrictions
• Follow all security and safety protocols
• Respect intellectual property rights of speakers and content creators

5. Intellectual Property

5.1 Conference Content

• All presentations, materials, and content remain the property of respective speakers and organizers
• Unauthorized recording, reproduction, or distribution is prohibited
• Official conference materials may be provided for personal use only
• Commercial use of conference content requires written permission

5.2 Website Content

• Website design, logos, and content are protected by copyright
• Government of Serbia retains all rights to official materials
• Third-party content is used with permission or under fair use

6. Photography and Media

By participating in RISE 2025, you consent to:

• Photography and video recording during the event
• Use of your image for promotional and documentary purposes
• Publication of conference proceedings and reports
• Social media coverage and news reporting

If you object to being photographed or recorded, please notify organizers upon registration.

7. Limitation of Liability

The Government of Serbia and conference organizers shall not be liable for:

• Personal injury or property damage during the event
• Travel delays, cancellations, or related expenses
• Technical issues affecting presentations or communications
• Changes to program schedule or speaker availability
• Third-party services or accommodations
• Loss of personal belongings

8. Force Majeure

The organizers reserve the right to cancel, postpone, or modify the conference due to:

• Natural disasters or extreme weather conditions
• Government regulations or public health emergencies
• Security threats or safety concerns
• Technical failures or venue unavailability
• Other circumstances beyond reasonable control

9. Privacy and Data Protection

10. Cancellation and Refund Policy

10.1 Participant Cancellation

• Participants may cancel their registration by contacting the organizers
• Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing
• As this is a free government event, no refunds apply to registration fees
• Participants are responsible for any personal travel or accommodation costs

10.2 Event Cancellation

• If the event is cancelled by organizers, participants will be notified immediately
• Alternative arrangements or rescheduling will be communicated as soon as possible
• The organizers are not responsible for participant expenses incurred

12. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Republic of Serbia. Any disputes arising from these terms or conference participation shall be resolved in accordance with Serbian law and through Serbian courts.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms of Service is found to be unenforceable or invalid, the remaining provisions shall continue to be valid and enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by law.

14. Modifications

The Government of Serbia reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on our website and participants will be notified of material changes via email.
